ELEGANT BLENDED CULTURES WEDDING IN NEWPORT, RI
Alina and Neil planned a beautiful late summer wedding in Newport, Rhode Island that was a joyous celebration of Western and Indian cultures set with the elaborate backdrop of a Newport Mansion. With a dress code of black tie or formal Indian, the Rosecliff Mansion in Rhode Island was the perfect backdrop for this multicultural wedding celebration.
The bride, Alina wore a gorgeous lace and tulle wedding dress by Zuhair Murad. The A-line style wedding dress had a beautiful floral lace pattern on the bodice that trailed down onto the elegant tulle skirt. Groom, Neil wore a classic tuxedo for the elegant wedding day, matching his groomsmen. Alina’s bridesmaids wore mix and match style dresses in various pastel colors and patterns. Bride Alina and the bridesmaids carried simple bouquets of white roses and baby’s breath.
The outdoor wedding ceremony took place overlooking the ocean with a brightly colored floral arch of pink and purple blooms and baby’s breath. Floral arrangements with complementing blooms lined the wedding ceremony aisle. The ceremony was a beautiful combination of the bride’s Western and the groom’s Indian cultures.
Rosecliff Mansion’s ballroom was elegantly decorated for the wedding reception in tones of white, gold, and blush. Textured linens and clear acrylic chairs were set at mismatched round and long reception tables. A mix of tall candle centerpieces and both tall and short floral centerpieces of white roses adorned the tables.
For the wedding reception, bride Alina opted to change her wedding day look and change into a reception bridal dress. The silk satin Danielle Frankel dress had an elegant off the shoulder neckline and long sleeves for a classic, yet modern bridal look.
