ELEGANT FAIRY-TALE WEDDING IN NEWPORT, RI

Abigail and Andrew’s Newport, RI wedding are what fairytales are made of. The St. George Chapel wedding ceremony was taken from a page of a Royal Wedding and the grand Ft. Adams wedding reception that followed was one that we will not soon forget!
Abigail was a classic beauty in her stunning Monique Lhuillier designer wedding gown. Her bridal dress was made of the most beautiful jacquard textured fabric, had a full skirt, and also had a long wedding dress train. For her timeless bridal style, Abigail completed her wedding day look with delicate wedding shoes with bows from Loeffler Randall, statement pearl earrings, a dramatic pearl chocker, and a classic bridal updo hairstyle.
My favorite part of her amazing wedding dress were the removable sleeves that doubled as a dramatic bride cape, so that she was able to wear the sleeves for her church wedding ceremony and take them off for the reception. She wore a stunning two-in-one wedding dress! What bride wouldn’t love two looks in one?!
Andrew and Abigail started their wedding day with a first-look reveal in a rose garden at the family’s private residence. After a traditional wedding ceremony at St. George chapel in Newport, Abigail and Andrew arrived to their waterfront, tented wedding reception in a fabulous vintage car. I am such a sucker for a getaway moment!

Inside the gorgeous white reception tent right on the coast in Newport, RI, the state park ground had been transformed into a garden straight from a fairytale. Greenery and golden chandeliers hung from the tent’s ceiling - along with a disco ball over the dance floor, so fun! For the guests’ escort cards, calligraphy embellished oyster shells pointed guests to their seats and paid a nod to the waterfront wedding venue. You won’t want to miss their stunning wedding cake covered in gorgeous pastel blooms.

I love a tented wedding reception by the ocean, especially one as beautiful as Abigail and Andrew’s! And who doesn’t want to dance their wedding night away under a disco ball?!
Call me a biased bridal stylist, but I think my favorite part of this wedding day was Abigail’s stunning wedding gown that looked amazing both with its long train flowing and also while bustled. Her removable sleeves allowed her to have two looks in one bridal dress and that is so fun for a wedding day!
