Our bridal stylists recently had the opportunity to style a modern meets classic wedding inspiration at a lovely new wedding location in New York. Wildflower Farms is the perfect wedding venue to create the wedding of your dreams. This hidden gem of a wedding location in the Hudson Valley in New York offers couples a blank slate to create a classic wedding with modern touches, for a timeless and everlasting wedding style.
The beautiful bride was styled but our bridal styling team in a ballgown wedding dress with a corset bodice and straps. A high-leg slit gave this classic ballgown-style wedding dress a modern twist. A simple, romantic bridal updo hairstyle and a bouquet of white blooms completed the bride’s wedding day style. For the intimate indoor wedding ceremony, the bride wore a long, lace-trimmed wedding veil. The groom wore a classic black tuxedo to add to the timeless wedding day feeling.
The bridesmaids wore fun and flirty party dresses in coordinating colors. We love the mismatched look of a solid blue and plaid pattern when thinking about what your bridesmaids will wear on your wedding day. The playful bows on the back of each dress are an added bonus detail!
The amazing wedding fashion did not stop there! One fun detail of winter wedding days is the additional bridal accessories that can be worn. I paired our bride’s ballgown wedding dress with a white fur stole jacket for some dreamy and romantic wedding day portraits.
The bride and the groom both had an outfit change for the wedding reception festivities. Reception bridal dresses or party dresses for the bride is a trend that will be sticking around and it’s so fun when the groom gets in on the fun as well. Going for a more relaxed but still classic look, the groom opted for a white tuxedo jacket and undone bowtie for his wedding reception look. The bride chose a long sleeve little white dress with a feather fringe and a short bridal veil.
