There’s something magical about the rolling hills of Northwest Connecticut, especially when they become the backdrop for a wedding day love story like Sydney and Russel’s. It was an honor for our team to provide wedding day dressing services for Sydney, and to help her and her family get ready and look picture perfect for their wedding day.

Sydney and Russel’s wedding day was straight out of a dream, the sun was shining and everything was just right. Our lead wedding dresser and bridal stylist, Lauren had the absolute joy of being there to help bring that dream to life by dressing Sydney, her bridal party, and her family for one of the most special moments of their lives.

As a wedding day dresser, we get to be part of such intimate, joyful moments behind the scenes, calming nerves, perfecting every detail, steaming dresses, and making sure everyone feels as stunning as they look.

For Sydney and Russel’s wedding, every part of the day was rooted in elegance, personal style, and love.

Picture Perfect in Every Way

Sydney was elegant and glowing in a custom-made strapless fit-to-flare bridal gown covered in delicate floral appliqué lace. Her wedding dress was perfect for the natural, outdoor setting of their wedding. The gown moved beautifully, and gave her the most graceful, elegant look as she walked. Her bridal look was completed with a sleek low bun, simple pearl earrings, and designer slingback heels with just the right amount of sparkle - a modern, timeless bride if there ever was one.

She was surrounded by her bridesmaids, each wearing beautifully mismatched floor-length bridesmaid dresses in shades of blush and romantic pink prints. The color palette was dreamy and cohesive in that effortlessly curated!

Wedding Style Goals

The wedding ceremony was held outdoors, right in the middle of a wide open field surrounded by mountains and nature. The ceremony aisle was a vision with white roses that seemed to grow straight from the grass, and the modern chuppah was encrusted with even more delicate white blooms. It felt organic and romantic, like the landscape itself had dressed up for the occasion.

Russel and his groomsmen were classic and dapper in black tuxedos, timeless, refined, and effortlessly handsome.

Their wedding reception took place under an epic sailcloth tent with wooden poles, creamy draping, and tables set in a palette of neutrals and white. The decor was subtle and sophisticated with wooden chairs, long garland-style white flower centerpieces, and understated place settings.

Everything about their wedding it felt organic, elegant, and just right!

It was amazing working with Victoria Dubin Events, and we are still dreaming about Sydney and Russel’s gorgeous wedding photographs by Eric Kelley!
